In 1999, Fox picked up a new series created by its animation golden boy, Matt Groening and his associate David X. Cohen. In 2003, Fox canceled that series to the dismay of its small but fervent fanbase. After bouncing around in syndication for several years, Comedy Central gave the show a second life. That show was, is and will continue to be Futurama as long as the fans stay loyal.

Futurama is the story of a 20th century pizza delivery boy named Phillip J. Fry whose life changes forever when an accident involving a cryogenics capsule puts him in suspended animation for 1000 years. Now a very different kind of delivery boy for an interstellar parcel service called Planet Express in 31st century New York, Fry and his coworkers have wild adventures through time, space and not just a little satire.

Cast

Billy West- One of the most accomplished voice actors in history, West contributes his versatile pipes to a variety of characters in Futurama, including Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Doctor Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan and many others.

Katey Sagal- In between days on the set of Sons of Anarchy, Katey Sagal brings her tough but funny delivery to Planet Express's resident pilot, Leela.

John DiMaggio- Perhaps the hardest-working man in the voice acting business, DiMaggio's star turn as the crude, rude, alcohol-swilling robot Bender has made him a household name.

Lauren Tom- Perhaps best known for her work on Mike Judge's beloved series King of the Hill, Lauren Tom voices Martian valley girl Amy.

Phil LaMarr- Character actor, comedian and voice talent Phil LaMarr does his best island accent for Planet Express accountant Hermes.

Tress McNeille- This Simpsons regular brings the same work ethic and hilarious delivery to various roles throughout Futurama.

Maurice LaMarche- A voice actor with over 30 years' experience on a laundry list of popular animated programs and video games, LaMarche voices several characters, most notably Kif Kroker.
