Mob Wives Anticipation

I do not know about many of you, but I am so ready for the Mob Wives premiere, which is set to air on January 1st on VH1!  The show follows the lives of four women. Two of the women are daughters of famous gangsters and the other two women are married to men who are incarcerated for their criminal activities, which are related to organized crime. Renee Graziano is the daughter of former mob boss of the Bonanno crime family, Anthony Graziano, who is incarcerated until 2012. Karen Gravano is the daughter of Sammy "The Bull" Gravano, who was the underboss of the Gambino crime family. He is most famously known as the rat who helped to bring down many members of the Italian Mafia. He is also incarcerated. Carla Facciolo is currently divorcing Joseph Ferragamo, who was just released from prison after serving time for stock fraud. Drita D'Avanzo is married to Lee D'Avanzo, who is serving several years for bank robbery.

SNL's Funniest Ladies

We know they saved the show.

Saturday Night Live hasn’t been good for a long time now. Not that it ever was really good. The gags were often lame, the sketches were often up-and-down, the actors were sometimes only half there. But despite some of the material that they’ve had to work with, some SNL cast mates make us laugh, time and time again. Let’s take a look at some of the most consistently funny female cast members in recent memory:

"Glee" celebrated Christmas this week

New Directions fought the holiday war, and kind of won.

Glee was kind of cute this week, but we had a bunch of totally-out-of-personality moments, of which we have become accustomed. Sue Sylvester, whose sister has recently died, has decided that she a.) doesn’t want to be alone and volunteer at a homeless shelter and b.) wants to invite the New Directions kids along. Totally out of character, but what do you care? It’s Christmas!

ANTM All-Stars

“When things get tough, hold on to the handlebars of fierceness and don’t let go.”

It’s the finale of America’s Next Top Model: All-Stars and the final three are all talking about what the win would mean for their careers. I’ve forgotten almost all of the winners of this show, so most likely it wouldn’t do too much, but let them dream!

Harry Morgan

Alias Colonel Sherman T. Potter

Today is December 7, 2011. This day has two things in common. The first is that it is the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The second is that this day saw the passing of a great actor and icon, Harry Morgan. Morgan died in the comfort of his home after a bout of pneumonia near family and friends at the age of 96.

Terra Nova

When the Future Lies in the Past

This season introduced a new science fiction series, Terra Nova, to audiences everywhere courtesy of the Fox Network and executive producers Steven Spielberg, Rene Echeverria, Peter Chernin, and Brannon Braga. Terra Nova starts in the year 2149 when the planetary overpopulation has exhausted all natural resources pushing the human race to the brink of extinction. Through scientific accident a rip in time is discovered giving way to the colonization of a prehistoric era with the intention of giving the human race a fresh chance to get it right.
